A repurposed plain 3 photo frame turned into a vintage vignette of Nature's sweetness!
No step by step today,just photos of color and texture and lovely natural elements. The colors as well as the ladies ephemera I used helped to achieve the vintage look I was going for.
The vintage costume jewelry bee pin fit right in!!
The quote is by Victor Hugo and went perfectly with my piece!
My inspiration came from Nichola Battilana of Pixie Hill
Nichola made a gorgeous triptych which she also filmed on YouTube , give it a look! ")
For the oozing and dripping honey , I used Nichola's technique of mixing a wee bit of paint with Glossy Accents and a bit of water for more flow.
The flowers are all from my gardens this spring and were dryed with Silica and the Bumble Bees were all found in Nature.
(NO critters were harmed during the creating of this piece!)
