Playing dolls with Paper Artsy!

Paper Artsy is having an Art Doll challenge-how fun is that!
Forever I have loved to play with dolls. As a child,I made my own Barbie's clothing and then as an adult I joined a paperdoll group and we swapped handmade art/paper dolls monthly-we had such fun and I have such treasured dolls from that time!
When I saw this challenge, well naturally,I had to play along")

For my doll,"Truly North",I have no step outs, because my muse and I were having too much fun!

Two of the Paper Artsy Artists posts,in particular, inspired me in the creation of of my doll.
Both, the fairy art doll post by  Alison Hall
and also the post,"Carmen" by Gabrielle Price.
Click on the links to check out these wonderful art dolls as well as all the others over on the Paper Artsy blog.

The stamps I used in the creation of Truly are by Lynne Perrella, available at Paper Artsy.
These are the two stamps sets I used:

Sorry I haven't been around as much as usual. My son Len is here visiting with us and,as you can imagine,I am getting in as much Mom time as possible 💞💞💞💞💞
Thanks so much for your visit~
Happy first day of Spring!

Hehehehehhed - well, I was in love with Truly North from the moment I laid eyes on her Jackie but when I scrolled down reading - she totally made me giggle out loud showing off the way she did... changing poses - crossing her legs - GRACIOUS - does she think she is human???!!! OK - well - maybe she is.... she can definitely come unhinged like a human!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She is TOTALLY FABULOUS!! I love the fabric at her neck and hemline and all the dangling metal. Her outfit is perfect. Makes me think she could hop on an old ship and sail 'truly north'!!!!!!!!!!! What SPECTACULAR Art Doll - LOVE LOVE LOVE. XXj.

Wow! Very great and wonderful! It is nice to hear You like paper dolls.
I have been a week in hollyday and away from home, but of course I had to come to watch Your paper doll. I don't have google+ any more, but I see Your posts from my side.
Have a nice waiting of spring and greetings my dear Friend :-)

Hello Len..so happy he is at your house. Do you have him coloring? Love this doll. Lucky recipient in that exchange. She's quite divine. I still cherish my first dolls I received from you. As a child I drew and colored (with colored pencils) shoeboxes full of paper dolls. Hugs-

Jackie...your art doll is way way cool! I love Lynne's stamps and the ones you are featuring on your blog are really fun! I love the bright colors that you use and this whimsical art doll is perfect for that color palette. Love the charms, the teal neck ruffle...well, all of her ensemble actually, the great hat and "True North" signage. You are so creative!

An amazing articulated doll and I am in love with the attention to detail on your doll such as the starfish and seahorse charms and the ruffle at her neckline.
You perfectly captured the whimsy of the Lynne Perrella designed stamps and also your use of colour also speaks very much of Lynne Perrella's own art style.
Amazing!!!
