WOYWW #478

Hello Everyone!
So,this is my first time at WOYWW!Can't believe I finally made it!! I have tried repeatedly to join in,but was never able to get my rear into gear!so to speak! lol

Anyway, here is a look at my current Workdesk and projects this Wednesday the first of August!
I had to blur out some spots as I am finishing up my "Circus" Themed paperdolls for my swap partner. As Julie Ann reads my blog,I did not want her to see her dollies until she received them in the mail!
Hoping to get them posted this morning!
(left to right)
as you can see,I work all over the desk and tend not to put my products away after I use them!! LOL

Close up of part of the title...

Again,I work all over and then I even stop to open mail and packages and leave them piled up to the side-geesh!no wonder I could not find those stars I carefully cut out! heehee
And the laptop gets relegated to the top of the trash can as there is no room above!

So these three photos are of the paperdollies travel case. And as you can see, these "One and only, positively, amazing,Wonderful Women are admired by everyone around the world!"

The Wonderosities of Women Show!
Step right up and get your tickets!!

Thanks so much for your visits and I will be around to see what you are all up to! Have a super fun day! and thanks for having me Julia!

ps...if you want to see more of our Paperdoll swap dolls, click here on my blog header

Welcome new followers, thank you for coming along on my journey! And thank you to my current followers and blog friends- you are the Best and I cherish each of your comments and the blog love you leave!

Hi Jackie, oh my goodness, on the one hand your workdesk just screams creativity, and I'd love to be working there. On the other hand, I don't think I could cope with not knowing exactly where my stars or whatever were lol. I get frustrated if I can't find something. Welcome to WOYWW and have a lovely week Heather x #34

I sympathize with the messy desk! I have that desk too!! And especially that floor full of clipped bits from collage-making. Looking forward to the paper dolls.

This so makes me smile, Jackie - your work area is just as wild and crazy as mine. We're definitely soul sisters...how could we ever live in an organized space? :D

Hi Jackie. Welcome to WOYWW. So much to look t on your desk - mine must have looked incredibly boring to you!! Love the idea of those circus dolls - I think they are going to be fun. Thanks for visiting - and the answer is YES - most definitely I will take something along in the craft line. Usually I take my watercolour crayons and sketch book, knitting, or crochet, maybe some papercrafting... I shall have to see what I can get into my bags and baggage. Apparently, the family tells me, I mustn't fill my car too full, as I am the one to go into Tesco at Oban to pick up the giant Click and Collect order that will be waiting for us!!!!!!!!! Hmmm...
Take care. God bless.

Ah, the sweet chaos of a busy desk!! Mine's in chaos even though I'm barely at it these days... and now I have to go away from it for another whole three weeks - I'm definitely looking forward to a bit more time to play. Great to see you joining in with WOYWW - I used to love it when I joined in regularly (long time ago now!)... and it's such fun to nose around all the crafty work spaces. Looks like another wonderful doll swap is under way... one of these days I hope I'll be along to play too. Thank you for your lovely comments - and to answer your question, I just swiped the Distress Stain onto the tags directly - Pumice Stone to the centre area and then the others added around the edges and some water-spritzing to blend and splotch it a bit. Hope that helps. Have a wonderful weekend.

Hi Jackie just popped back to answer your question. Those guys in the photo are not really American but they have all the right gear. There are lots of
re-enactment groups around Lincolnshire and because of it's Aero Heritage and the Americans being around here from about 1942 naturally you have to include them in the fun. Some of the guys even have an American accent but not sure how good it is. Still it gets them out of the house Lol! and it's good to have a hobby. My cousin has actually married an American girl and her mother's story is quite interesting. Her husband was over here during the 2nd World War and they intended getting married but when this became reported they shipped him back home but the lady was not going to be put off by this and followed him and the rest is history. How sweet is that. Have a great weekend, Angela xXx

Hello Jackie,
It does my heart good to see you are surrounded in creativity : )
[And to know I'm not the only one who doesn't always -well-
clean up after herself every time ; ]
I'm so glad you are feeling so much better; and back in the swing
of crafting again. It is such a part of who you are~
I am still not "there" yet (my dear mother passed away in July.)
But I hope to feel like creating again sometime soon.
Hugs to you, karen o

Wow, Jackie. So great to see you at WOYWW. Ironic that my blog is on hiatus from there this month. I fear I would not be able to work in your space. I am a neat freak, which is NOT the same as a clean freak. I have to put everything away right after I use it, only to get it out again about 20 minutes later! You certainly know how to control your chaos, though. I hope you will keep playing in WOYWW. I look forward to joining you again in Sept.

Oh, no, Jackie, I can't believe I missed your first ever WOYWW post! I couldn't take part this week and I'm only just catching up on my blog roll. This is probably the first time I've seen your desk as well - I must have seen some others in your craft barn, but I don't recognize this particular one! It looks so busy and full of creative energy - love how you relegated the laptop onto the waste paper bin LOL! My desk can get this messy too when I get going! Love the travelling case for the art dollies and hope to see them when you can finally unveil them! Hope you'll be a WOYWW regular from now on! xx

Such fun post and such a fun swap too by the looks of it. You work the same as me - I was using the top of a cardboard box as a desk a few weeks back because the desk was to full. But then the box collapsed and I had to tidy my desk. Ha.

Have a lovely week,,
