I have some color play to share with you today
playing around with some great products I created this mixed media journal page in my rag tag do over journal book-heehee
the sentiment stamp used here is from Lost Coast Designs
and this gorgeous embossing powder you see all over the page
is called Hammered Metal from Emerald Creek- one of my favs!
after embossing a piece of vintage paper,I used my Distress Oxides to create this beautiful melding of colors-I just love that these hybrid inks do not muddy!
I added a bit of DecoArt Liquid Glass
to a few places to compliment the gloss of the embossing

Oh my gosh Jackie, that journal page is magnificent and should be framed!!!! Truly a work of art and I love the metal embossing. It looks just like melted and splattered metal. I really need to look into the distress oxides, you achieved perfection with them. woohoo!!

Gorgeous colors on this page! I love the way they meld together and yet have the power to stand apart. A rare skill. Very calming to look at. I am really glad I came over for a better peek.

Last night I tried posting on your blog three times so I figured I would try again this morning :) I loveee the embossing folder over the paper and the way you used the beautiful colors of the ink oxides (I really have to splurge on those). The sentiment is just perfect and the embossing powder color and what you did with it is gorgeous! I just love looking at it all!
