On to my piece for the challenge...

Golden Goddess

This page will be the first of my goddess journal I am working on-stay tuned more to come ")

Starting out with a piece of 140 lb.watercolor paper,DecoArt acrylic paints thinned down to watercolor consistency;apply layers of color till desired look is achieved.

Next pounce on acrylic paint-full strength to highlight areas
Mixed 3D Gloss Gel with paint
 and knifed through stencil
 set aside to dry
Same was done to background of cardstock journal page.
Next, a piece of craft board was sized smaller and layers of paint added, and set aside to dry
Attached watercolor paper to journal page and used gilding foil in various areas
My graphic of this gorgeous lady, came from the GOLDEN SPLENDOR collage sheet.
She was sized and glued to the craft board, then this was glued to the cardstock journal page.
Metallic Lustre was applied with my finger to raised areas and the edges

Ohhhh, now pretty that gold is...I particularly love it mixed in with the gloss gel...need to give that a whirl, cause it looks sensational "knifed" through that stencil. I will also be borrowing that phrase (I never know how to describe that!) Sounds like a fun Goddess journal you will be working on, where can I sign up to get my face on a page???? Tee hee! I hope you have many Blessings in 2016!! Still waiting to hear from you, dear! :):) Hugs!
