Chum, my other care giver and bestest shadow pal in the world! |
Hello my friends!
I went for my 2 week check up yesterday, so here is a short video message to bring you up to date.
just one more thing...have any of you ever seen a Robin build a nest on the ground? I know it is a Robin because I watched her the other day scout out for worms and then hop back on.
Peace & Love to you all dear friends

So great to see you looking so much brighter - a light in the eyes which was so sadly absent in the previous video. It's great to hear that the surgery has gone well and that you are recovering well. What a relief to be off the steroids and most of the other drugs - the morphine I had when I broke my leg took a long while to clear out of my system, but it did happen eventually! Great also to hear you managed to sort out the Blogger business, and fantastic that you were able to share some creativity again. Don't overdo it on trying to leave comments when you're visiting - we all understand, and it's far more important that you get yourself properly better. I do hope that the fingers will be back to normal soon.
Love the robin's nest too, by the way - those eggs are a wonderful colour.

I just love you! and am so glad you are getting better. Now put down that rake!! I bet Chum is a great caregiver. I have never seen a robins nest built on the ground like that. I hope she and her babies will be safe.
Thanks so much for your wonderful video, so good to see you looking better and you sound better, too. I know we all need the pain and other medication, but they are really hard to live with at the same time. I often need to take steroids and just hate them, but they do help. Love the mug your son sent you!Look after yourself, get really better and don't worry about anything, we're all here waiting for you! Great robin's nest, I've never seen on on the ground either. Have a good weekend, take it easy! BIG hugs, Valerie
Dear Jackie
I was so wonderful to see your video and to see you in person! I had no idea about the dreadful pain you have been experiencing for so long with your dorsal nerves and the damage to your neck, arm, hands and fingers.
I'm so pleased the surgery went well and you are now over the worst of the steriod treatment. Time is a great healer.
I will private message you on fb to suggest something that may help in your recovery!
I admire your positive attitude and approach and these things will help you get better so much faster.
I look forward to seeing you create again pain free. What a joy that will be for you!
That will teach me not to keep up with all my followers.
Thinking of you sweetie and sending you much healing love,
Suzy xox
Oh Jackie, what a treat to actually see and hear that you are on the road to recovery! I was so worried about you. Take as much time as you need to heal, and for the typing, no worries! I just adore that wonderful nest that your resident robin has created for you to enjoy watching, nature is a beautiful thing. Really truly made my day to see your post! love and hugs and continued prayers for a full recovery my friend! xx
Hi Jackie, so pleased to see you looking more like your cheery self. I know it's silly because we have never met in person but I almost felt like crying when I saw your earlier video as I could see the pain and misery you were going through. Your boys sound great though they do have a lovely mum so no wonder really. Take care and don't do too much. Love and hugs, Angela xXx
Dearest Jackie,
I`m so happy seeing you here again, and even more happy, seeing you are not looking so sad, anymore- it was a terrible time for you, so no wonder your last video, showed how painful it
all was for you, my friend.
I feel grateful for you, that you are able starting writing with your hand again, and that the terrible pain has vanished .
You have been a strong woman- through that hell!
Thank you for your many comments, I received today, you are a star already coming visiting so much, but please take care in the beginning, I know you are there, sweetie.
So wonderful also to see the nest , oh my, I never saw anything like it- on the ground- what a special gift to you, hopefully it will not be destroyed by cats or bigger birds.
Now have a lovely Sunday, my dear friend. and remember to go slowly, and take care.
I send you warm hugs ,and smiles.
Dorthe, xxxxxxx
Oh Jackie, I had no idea you were going through so much pain. Just this week I was wondering about you, because I hadn't seen a post of you on Facebook anymore, and that's always how I knew you had written on your blog. I haven't been online that much either these past weeks. So sorry I missed it. It's good to hear that you are doing better now, and I just hope that the rest of the recovery will be speedy and complete. Please don't feel as if you have to leave comments everywhere, it's much more important that you take your rest and time to heal. We'll be here whenever you come back! That robin's nest looks wonderful, I didn't know the eggs were blue. It's very pretty. I just hope cats or other animals won't destroy it... Dear Jackie, take care of yourself, take lots of rest, slow down, and let others take care of you! Hugs and warm wishes xxx Denise
Jackie I am so glad to see how much happier you are after your surgery and that all went well.
It's amazing to hear the happiness within your voice and see the smile on your face compared to the last video, which broke everyone's heart.
You just make sure you take advantage of all the care and attention to speed along your healing process.
Sending BIG healing hugs your way and a huge Thank you for your kindness and words but most of all for being there although across the miles.. Take Care Tracey xx
Jackie, for some reason I was unable to view your video but I am so glad that you are feeling better after your surgery. Recovery takes time so rest up and enjoy being lazy for a bit.
Kate
We LOVE you too dear Jackie! Great that you got to a lesser extent of pain!
Nerves need time. As our Ridgeback-boy had an accident as he was young and he couldn't use his paw in the exact way after his surgery he got a test of nerve conduction velocity.
The doctor told me that the nerves need one month for one centimeter of redevelopment.. and that was so right - exactly after the expected time he used the paw in the exact right way again.
I am sure you will heal soon and with sports rehab it will be even better !
♥♥♥ Your sons are wonderful - but no wonder - their mother is wonderful too!
Loved to see this nest! She knows that she is safe in your garden---lol!
Please don't mind too much about commenting! You need all to heal now! Nobody will mind it - WE LOVE YOU!!! And CHUM is wonderful to be such a good care giver!♥♥
Get well soon!
HUGS, Susi
